I am proud to announce our annual back-to-school giveaway coming this August! This will be Scattered Rain’s FIRST ever back-to-school event, we’ll be giving away backpacks filled with school supplies for parents in need right before school starts. Life gets hectic sometimes and we fall short, it’s ok that’s what this moment is for. All families with school-aged children are welcomed to this event to receive a backpack for their child to attend the upcoming school year.
We are also planning another event giving back to those less fortunate, we will be feeding some of the men and women that are homeless. With the weather changing and scorching high temperatures, it’s only right to help those who can’t help themselves during this time. We’ll be providing our people with lunches, water, and necessities for personal care. It’s the right thing to do; anything could have happened, why not take the time to bless someone else who may need it more than you.
In the fall Scattered Rain will be hosting an Anti-bullying Campaign. We have ZERO tolerance for bullying, and we intend on bringing more awareness to the matter. I had a daughter which I had no clue, who was being bullied at school, I had to take matters into my own hands and bring awareness to stop it. Most of the time it’s coming from a child who is crying out for help who doesn’t have an outlet to release those pinned-up emotions and takes it out on another child. We will be promoting this during the entire month of October, and hope to touch the hearts of others and put an end to this for good.
